Job Description: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Dayananda Sagar University is seeking a Professor who is enthusiastic about teaching, research, and innovation. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to academic teaching, curriculum development, research, and industry collaborations, while fostering a creative learning environment for students. Key Responsibilities: Delivering lectures and conducting seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Developing and updating the curriculum to ensure it aligns with the latest advancements in the field. Engaging in research, publishing papers in reputed journals, and contributing to the development of new technologies and methodologies. Supervising students in their academic and research projects. Contributing to the departments academic and co-curricular activities. Collaborating with other departments, industries, and research organizations for knowledge exchange and project-based learning. Participating in faculty development programs and engaging in self-driven learning to stay updated with the latest trends in ECE. Eligibility Criteria: Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related areas from a premier institution like IIT/NIT. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching and research, with a proven track record in academic leadership and curriculum development. Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Ability to guide and mentor students in their research and academic development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the field of ECE (e.g., IoT, VLSI, Communication Systems, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interdisciplinary teaching and research. Industry experience or collaborations in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Involvement in academic committees, professional bodies, or editorial boards of reputed journals.
