About the Team: We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to strengthen our organization's information security posture, with a focus on protecting IT assets, creative assets, research documents, and cloud-based workspace security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-level data security, IT asset security, and network security, particularly in environments using a mix of Windows, Mac and cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities A. Strategic Planning and Risk Management 1. Assess and evaluate current security infrastructure and protocols. 2. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures. 3. Provide expert advice on best practices for data protection and cyber threat prevention in a creative industry context. B. System and Network Security 1. Design and implement comprehensive security solutions for a mixed environment of Mac workstations (MacBook Pro, Mac Studio), Windows Workstations (Desktops and Laptops) and cloud-based services. 2. Experience with securing large file storage systems and data transfer protocols for media files and documents. 3. Establish secure workflows for designers and researchers to protect generated content and intellectual property. C. Cloud and Workspace Security 1. Develop and maintain security protocols for Google Workspace, ensuring data protection and access control. 2. Enhance security measures for protecting sensitive research documents and creative content in cloud environments. D. Incident Response and Threat Management 1. Respond to and investigate security incidents, particularly those that might compromise creative or research integrity. 2. Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies relevant to creative and research-focused organizations Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2. 5+ years of experience in IT security, preferably within creative industry or research. Certified in- 1. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 2. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) 3. CompTIA Security+ 4.
