- ### **Job Posting: Maker Space Assistant** *Position:** Maker Space Assistant *Location:** ahmedabad *Employment Type:** Part-time/Full-time --- #### **About the Role:** We are looking for a **Maker Space Assistant** who is passionate about hands-on learning, innovation, and technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining various tools and equipment commonly found in a maker space. This role involves guiding students, educators, and enthusiasts in using tools safely, assisting with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) workshops, and fostering a creative and collaborative environment. --- #### **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the daily operations of the maker space, including tool and equipment maintenance. - Train and guide students, educators, and visitors in safely using tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, woodworking tools, soldering kits, electronics, and robotics kits. - Support hands-on learning experiences, including Beyond Box's **STEAM workshops, project-based learning activities, and challenges**. - Help manage maker space inventory and ensure proper stocking of materials. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Encourage collaboration and creative problem-solving among participants. - Troubleshoot and repair basic technical issues with equipment. --- #### **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Experience in a maker space, fabrication lab, or similar setting. - Proficiency in operating maker tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, power tools, and electronic kits. - Strong understanding of safety protocols for handling tools and equipment. - Passion for STEAM education and hands-on learning. - Ability to explain technical concepts to beginners in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. - Experience in teaching, mentoring, or leading workshops is a plus. - Knowledge of coding, robotics, and circuit design is a plus. --- #### **Why Join Us ** - Be part of an innovative STEAM education initiative dedicated to inspiring young minds. - Work in a dynamic and creative learning environment. - Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. - Opportunity for professional development and growth in the education and maker community. --- *How to Apply:** If you are excited about **hands-on learning, technology, and making a difference**, wed love to hear from you!
