- Overview The Accounts Fresher in US Taxation plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by assisting in various tax-related activities. The Accounts Fresher will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and processing tax-related information to ensure compliance with US tax regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns. Support senior accountants in tax planning and compliance activities. Collect and organize financial data for tax analysis. Review tax documents for accuracy and completeness. Maintain detailed records and documentation for tax projects. Research tax issues and prepare summaries for management review. Participate in tax audit processes and respond to inquiries. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations. Support the development of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information. Assist in updating financial reporting systems related to taxation. Help prepare tax-related correspondence. Perform other duties as assigned by senior team members. Contribute to enhancing documentation processes. Attend training sessions to improve tax knowledge. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certification / Internship in Quick Books Software Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles. Basic understanding of US taxation laws. No prior work experience required; internships are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with data entry and financial reporting. Knowledge of tax preparation software is a plus. Understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounts. Commitment to professional development and ethics in accounting.
