- Job Description Bakery Assistant (Commi 2 level) Job Title: Bakery Assistant Reporting to: Programme Head Bakery and Pastry, SSCANS. And working under HoD Hospitality Programmes Requirements/ Qualifications: - Diploma in Bakery / Food Production/ Hotel Management & equivalent - A minimum 3 years of experience in bakery production outlet in any hotel/ bakery unit or institute Job Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining new recipes, presentations and products. Assist the Pastry Chef with the coordination and directing of the pastry operation. Preparation and production of all baked goods Prepares specialty baked goods for in-house and catered events Prepare all products and requirement for the bake shop on daily basis as per menu Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery and pastry lab and outlet Maintain records and costing of all produce Make indent / menu for the Bake Shop in consultation with Programme Head Bakery and Pastry and Director SSCANS. Maintenance of the Bakery and Patisserie labs from time to time for smooth running Maintain record of kitchen personnel assisting you Monitor sale of the Bake and furnish the requirements Any other activity or task assigned by Director, Programme Head Bakery and Pastry and Director and AO, SSCANS Skills Required: Bakery and pastry advanced skills Bakery equipment handling skills Costing and menu preparation skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Sus, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Application Question(s): Available for Trade Test for Bakery and Pastry products skills Education: Diploma (Preferred) Experience: total work: 3 years (Required) bakery and pastry: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person,
