- 1. Scientist/Sr. Scientist Perfume Evaluation/Application development Job Description: Note: Product Development: 1. Educational Qualification M.Tech. in Perfumery and Flavour (UICT) M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) M.Sc Chemistry M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) Ph.D (Chemistry/Bio-chemistry/Chemical Engineering) Having work experience in fragrance application development and sensory evaluation of different formats of personal care, home care and air care formulations. Application development include Soaps, Personal wash products, Skin creams, lotions, Deodorants, fine fragrances, Shampoos, Air care formats (sprays, pockets, etc). Fabric wash, Fabric conditioners, Floor care products, etc. Knowledge of Flavour technology & application in food products. Knowledge in regulatory requirements. Product perfume compatibility tests. Years of Experience: 3 - 5 Years in the Industry Role Description (Detailed description of the role & responsibilities of the position) for Product Development - Personal Care & Home care Measure of Performance Hands on experience in Application development and evaluation of perfume performance in various application formats. Up to date knowledge on perfumery global standards in personal care like IFRA 40% Exposure in application development of perfumes in various personal care, home care, air care formats. 20% Exposure in Perfumery regulatory developments. Knowledge of different fragrance chemicals in application of personal care, home care, Air care and fine fragrances. Strong interpersonal skills, to work with various cross functions teams of R&D, packaging, marketing, manufacturing and Perfumery houses. 20% Exposure in perfumery chemicals 20% Exposure in interaction with Perfumery houses. Must be a trained fragrance and flavour evaluation nose Compliance Product Development of Personal care & Home Care products Product Evaluations Stability studies, The person should adept at latest developments in this category. Acquaintance of various stages of product development cycle. Knowledge in latest cosmetics regulatory affairs is an added advantage Candidate should be a strong team player, positive attitude, innovative approach etc. Willing to travel freely.
