Job Description
How you will do it
Defining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product.
Working with all stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed and agreed upon
Make the QA team aware of the Quality metrics and resolve all the technical queries.
Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measureable criteria s to check the quality on timely basis.
Defining processes for test plan and different phases of testing cycle.
Planning and scheduling several milestones and tasks like alpha and beta testing.
Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
Work closely on the deadlines of the project
Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
Ensure any quality issues & risks are escalated to the Delivery manager timely
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are sent to all stakeholders
Create & review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered
What we look for
BE (ECE/EIE/ETC/EEE) or equivalent - minimum 7 - 9 years of experience in software quality testing
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC & thorough understanding of the testing process.
Strong experience of testing web, desktop, mobile & cloud based applications through manual and automation.
Experience on test & defect management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, VSTS and TFS,
Working experience in the agile team with thorough understanding of testing cycle in agile environment.

Assign various tasks to the team members as per expertise.
Solve any technical queries.
Building up a team and choosing right number and skill set of resources.
Create re - usable test environment with minimal or no guidance.
Self - motivated, multi - tasking ability in a challenging environment.
Periodically report status of work to all the internal & external stakeholders.
Highlight risks & identify mitigation plan.
KPI On time delivery, product quality, effort variance, defect leakage
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred
Working knowledge in iOT domain and Air Conditioning domain.
Working Knowledge of Selenium with Java and Appium framework.
Knowledge of scripting language, automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of application deployment at App Store and Play Store.
Working experience in DevOps environment.
