Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our team and ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software.
You will be responsible for enhancing testing strategies, collaborating across teams, and driving quality assurance processes in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing to validate software quality and address potential issues
- Conduct regression testing to verify system reliability during product updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and testers to identify and resolve problems
- Analyze and leverage QA metrics to monitor testing progress and ensure efficiency
- Design and implement effective test cases to maintain thorough and consistent coverage
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Understand system architecture to provide valuable suggestions for improvements
- Track and communicate testing results and defects while prioritizing resolution efforts
- Utilize your proficiency in Postman API to perform API testing and validate connections effectively
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing with a strong foundation in functional and manual testing practices
- Expertise in Postman API, including 3-4 years of practical experience
- Proficiency in regression testing techniques to maintain system stability and reliability
- Understanding of QA strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Familiarity with QA metrics and reporting systems for tracking progress and performance
- Background in Agile/Scrum frameworks with the capability to adapt to iterative workflows
- Strong time management and prioritization skills for consistently meeting deadlines
- Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset to work effectively with team members
Nice to have
- Basic SQL skills to query and validate database information
- Familiarity with tools like Splunk and Jira
