Job Title - Hardware Team Lead (Specialist)

Domain: Medical Devices/Healthcare.

Qualification: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent stream.

Experience:10-13 years of relevant experience in electronic circuit design and new product development

Job Location: Magarpatta city, Hadapar, Pune

Required:

• Hands on experience on microcontroller, mixed signal, analogue design.

• Experience in designing and implementing communication interfaces - SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet
• Good understanding of electronic component specifications and selection process - ADC, DAC, Opamp, memories (NAND, Flash, SDRAM, DDR), interface connectors, battery, DC motors, stepper motors
• Experience in developing high speed controlled impedance board design, board stack-up design, pre-peg and core selection, signal integrity analysis, high speed layout guidelines implementation.
• Good understating of DFM and DFT aspects, experience in implementing DFM / DFT at PCB level.
• Experience in EMC testing debugging on variety of products and interfaces.
• Understating of product development process and phases.
• Good understanding of Pre-compliance testing and regulatory aspects of hardware design.
• Experience in reviewing team members deliverables to ensure defect free delivery to customers
• Ability to come up with alternate solutions and best trade off design decisions.
• Ability to plan detailed activities for hardware team and ensure optimum resource utilization
• Ability to manage hardware team of 7+ engineers, dealing with challenging situations to achieve on time delivery.
• Experience in working on New Product development cycles
• Very good understanding inter-domain (Hardware, Firmware, Mechanical) dependencies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in dealing with customers for requirement understanding, reviews and approvals.
• Ability to estimate efforts, cost and risks associated with hardware activities for preparing competitive proposal for customer.

Desirable:

• Experience in independently preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Experience in power supply design - DC-DC converters, PMIC, power dissipation analysis, heat sink computation, power supply performance testing and analysis
• Experience of working with customers from various geographies. (e.g. USA, Germany, Japan)
• Knowledge of reliability analysis, MTBF and related tools would be considered plus.
• Knowledge of FPGA would be considered as plus.
• Exposure Design and Development of medical product would be considered plus.
• Exposure to Medical standards - IEC60601-1, ISO-14971 would be considered plus.
• Experience in Medical device development
