Location: Uma by the Sea, Morjim Beach, Goa
Full-Time | On-Site
About Uma by the Sea

than a restaurant. Its a soulful seaside escape on Morjim Beach, where Goan tradition
meets global inspiration on every plate.
Led by Chef Aloysius, fondly known as Chef Aloo, our kitchen is a tribute to
heartfelt flavours and coastal memories. From his signature Aunty Adeas Prawn
Curry to smoky grills, aged-dough pizzas, and masterfully balanced cocktails, every
dish is made with passion, precision, and a touch of nostalgia.
At Uma, we believe in slowing downsipping tap beer as the sun dips into the
Arabian Sea, savouring food that stirs your soul, and celebrating lifes simple
pleasures. Were proud to be the only place on Morjim Beach serving fresh tap
beer, with a cocktail list that turns golden hour into magic.
Were now looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Manager to anchor Umas
story in the hearts of locals, travellers, and tastemakers across India and beyond.
What Youll Do
Lead all marketing efforts to drive footfall, increase brand love, and grow revenue
Own our social media strategy (especially Instagram), create engaging, aesthetic
content that captures the essence of Uma
Collaborate with chefs, musicians, influencers, and local creators to tell immersive
stories
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, food festivals, pop-ups, and community
events
Work closely with the creative team to develop visual and video content, reels, ads,
and print collaterals
Analyze footfall, campaign performance, and customer behaviour to inform strategy
Build relationships with travel curators, media, bloggers, and Goas cultural
community
Maintain a strong digital presence across Google, Zomato, Swiggy, and OTAs
Youll Thrive If You Are
A creative thinker with 47 years of marketing experience in hospitality, F&B, or
lifestyle brands
Deeply familiar with Goas evolving audiencelocals, tourists, and the creative
community
Strong in content, storytelling, and social-first marketing (you live on Instagram
Reels)
Comfortable working independently with vendors, creators, and agencies
Obsessed with good food, soulful design, and experiences that make people feel
Willing to work on-ground in Morjim, Goa your mornings might begin with
ocean air and end with jazz by the sea
