Job Description
Roles& Responsibilities:
Responsible for auditing charts before submitting to clients and documenting the audit sheets as per the
metrics defined.
- Analyze and interpret patient medical record and demographic information to identify and determine the
amount and nature of billable services as per third party payer requirements.
- Research and resolve enquiries from clients and stakeholders about the right codes.
- Conduct huddle feedback sessions based on error trends as well as one-on-one feedback
- Document detailed feedback as per standard protocol on detailing variances along with relevant authorized
guidelines and coding references
- Ensure consent from the coder post the feedback as per compliance requirements
- Partner and support leaders on continuous quality improvement initiatives as per compliance standards
- Keep oneself abreast with the latest updates and changes and/or new regulations in the coding domain
through conferences, workshops, and in-house sessions
- Generate reports basis audits performed and to categorize the error trends basis the reports
- Highlight the error trends proactively on time to process leaders ensuring immediate resolution
- Should be able to review documentation as per the coding guidelines and validate coding and suggest any
changes as required.
- Coordination with the training team in planning training for the coders based on the error reports.
Preferred candidate profile
Location: Chennai ,Hyderabad, Mumbai
Experience: 1year and above
Certification Only: CPC/CCS/ COC/CIC
