PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Head of IT is responsible for the Company vertical solution business applications including integration with ERP and management of venders. Also accountable for ensuring that the solutions vertical areas meet the ongoing and evolving business requirements effectively. The Head of IT is responsible for change management coordination and administration of all serial solution system wide applications used in the group using best practices and supports all business users on these applications.

Responsible for total IT budget for the company

General Manager, Managing Director, Directors, HOD
EXTERNAL
Service Providers, Vendors, Clients
SECTION C: KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve Company goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
- Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
- Establish and implement greater work flow, and reporting mechanisms through new IT systems.
- Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
- Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Assess and make recommendations on the improvement or re-engineering of the IT organization.
- Consult stakeholders on new technology implementations and systems requirements.
- Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
- Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems.
- Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
- Establish lines of control for current and proposed information systems.
- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact.
- Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities.
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices
- Liaise with company's suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies
Manage and supervise external consultants and suppliers.
- Manage Company IT resources internal or external.
SECTION D: QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
Information Technology Manager Job Responsibilities:
- 12+ years of experience within Infrastructure technologies, Systems Administration
- Strong experience in AWS, Azure, o365 cloud platform.
- Awareness on CISCO, Fortinet, and Juniper network devices.
- Knowledge on routing & switching: LAN / WAN infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, WAN optimization
- Solid experience on AD, DNS, DHCP, Virtualization, blade servers, SAN storage, SQL DB, Office 365.
- Time management, ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, with propensity to handle urgent interrupts with poise and professionalism
- Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
- Demonstrated practical judgment and strong decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented fast pace-driven environment
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Ability to manage and partner with vendors to effectively deliver high level of service.
- Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness
- Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
- Business system knowledge like SAP, Oracle, Tally will be added advantages
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's/Master degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering. Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services. Preferred Qualifications - Proven leadership skills

Package offered:
- Net salary: USD$3,000 - 4,000 depending on level of qualification and experience.
