Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL testing, validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes

• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data at different stages of ETL

• Conduct data validation, data integrity checks, and source-to-target mapping verification

• Work closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure data quality

• Analyze data flows and identify inconsistencies or issues in large datasets

• Create and maintain test cases, defect logs, and test documentation

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing

• Expertise in SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, views, and indexing

• Experience with tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Datastage (any ETL tool)

• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts, Star & Snowflake schemas

• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM

• Good communication and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 36 years of experience in ETL and database testing

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Exposure to Big Data or cloud platforms is a plus
