- Department QUALITY ASSURANCE Job posted on Aug 06, 2024 Employment type Full Time Group Company: Quick Heal Technologies Ltd Designation: Senior QA Engineer Office Location: Marvel Edge 8th Floor Pune Position description: As a Senior QA Engineer - you would be responsible for creating or enhancing Automation Frameworks, developing test harnesses/tools, automating functional and/or non-functional test areas. Primary Responsibilities: Develop a functional understanding of the product/system under test. Identifies use cases/scenarios and converts them to prioritized and effective test cases. Apply analytical skills to identify and debug issues encountered as part of automation solution. Communicates test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in timely manner. Execute automated tests within the stipulated time to meet the overall quality and project objectives. Educational qualifications preferred Category: Bachelor's Degree Field specialization: Computer Science, Information Technology Degree: Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Technology - BTech Required Competencies: Core Competencies Testing Skills : "Test-to-fail" Mindset, Test Planning, Test Design, Test case Prioritization, Defect Reporting, Troubleshooting/Debugging. Networking: IP Subnetting, Firewall, Wireshark, Automation Skills: Scripting/Python/Java/Selenium Operating System : Windows/Linux/Mac Functional Competencies Knowledge and understanding of SDLC standard methodologies and QA processes. Advanced Test case design, prioritization, test execution & defect reporting Advanced Developing, maintaining and enhancing high quality, and reliable test automation. Basic Automation Framework and Design Patterns Basic Troubleshooting/Debugging skills and RCA Advanced Required Knowledge: 0-4 years of relevant hands-on experience in Manual Testing with enterprise products. 0-1 years of experience in creating and executing automation Should have a good strong networking basics and should be able to understand packet flows. Good analytical and program solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter and motivated. Additional Roles & Responsibilities: Candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance. He / She should be able to understand the requirements, design and develop test plans around the same to cover all the aspects of testing (system, functional, integration, negative and usability). He / she should be able to think from the end user perspective and be involved from the design phase to have a deeper understanding of the product. He/she should be good at troubleshooting issues and should be able to assist customer support for field issues He/ She should have a knack of learning new technologies and features quickly and become a subject matter expert:- Additional Skills - - python (intermediate) Networking fundamentals (advanced) Manual Testing Automation Basics of Information and Network Security ISTQB certification a plus Performance testing experience is a plus,
