Job Description
Job Summary:
The MIS (Management Information Systems) Executive is responsible for managing and analyzing data to support business operations, generating reports, and optimizing information systems. The role involves handling databases, preparing dashboards, automating reports, and ensuring data integrity for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management & Reporting
- Gather, process, and analyze data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Generate business performance dashboards and visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports.
2. System & Database Management
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Assist in database automation and integration with business systems.
3. Automation & Process Improvement
- Develop and optimize Excel-based reports using formulas, macros, and VBA.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
4. Coordination & Support
- Work closely with different departments to understand data requirements.
- Provide training and support on MIS tools and reports.
- Assist in software implementation and system upgrades.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation of reports and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data security standards.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in MS Excel (Advanced), VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, and Formulas
- Experience with SQL / Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other business information systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 1-5 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
- Microsoft Excel Certification
- Power BI / Tableau Certification
- SQL / Database Management Certification
