Head of EngineeringExperience: 8 - 20 Years Exp
Salary : INR 80-120 Lacs per annum
Preferred Notice Period: Within 30 Days
Shift: 10:00AM to 7:00PM IST

We're seeking an experienced, results-driven Head of Engineering to join our leadership team. This role carries direct ownership of key Tech KPIs and responsibility for driving quarterly tech priorities. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, provide strategic technical oversight, and lead our engineering function.Our Technical Stack
Over 10 Global eCommerce Brands
Built on Ruby on Rails & NextJS, running on AWS
ERP software managing our global operations, including global marketplaces
Modules across all functions - including marketing, logistics, customer support, finance etc.
Workflow, Dashboard & Reporting functionalities for all business divisions
Technical Leadership
Direct and evolve our technical team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure high-level Tech KPIs are met and regularly tracked.
Quarterly Priorities & KPIs
Own and drive Tech Priorities each quarter.
Manage, monitor, and improve key Tech KPIsperformance, uptime, quality metrics, etc.
Strategic Planning & Architecture
Architect strategies for cost, performance, and architectural optimization of our eCommerce applications.
Assess feasibility of hybrid infrastructure migration from AWS, aligning with business goals.
Team Management & Processes
Lead the engineering teams performancespeed, quality, best practices adherence.
Introduce robust processes to boost team efficiency and product quality; adapt and refine them as necessary.
Risk Management
Proactively identify and manage technical/business risks around speed, quality, revenue, and security

Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, with a track record of increasing responsibility and success.
Expert knowledge in designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-level eCommerce applications.
Proficiency in multiple back-end languages frameworks, alongside front-end languages and libraries.
Familiarity with both cloud-based (AWS) and bare metal architectures, with hands-on experience in migrating or managing such environments.
Strong capability for technological analysis, research, and the selection of cutting-edge solutions.
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Why this role?
