- Job description We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our IT team as a System Administrator. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. You will be responsible for ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to end users, and helping to resolve IT-related issues. Responsibilities: Linux OS Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux operating systems and Linux software/packages. Basic knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Networking Basics: understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration. Network point I/O crimping, punching, building up LAN, and installation of a network rack. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues. Diagnose issues related to LAN/WAN, troubleshoot a network outage in an office environment Helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions. LDAP Integration: Understanding of LDAP integration for user authentication and management. Skills and Qualifications: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of networks (LAN, WAN), hardware, and software. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) is an advantage. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
