Job Description
Hiring IPDRG Medical Coders
Work from Home
Note - Only CCS certified coders are eligible.
Specialty - IPDRG Coding
Skill set : Coder must have knowledge/ Experience in Pediatrics, OBGYN, CC (complication or comorbidity) and MCC (Major Complication or Comorbidity) and exposure in Rehabilitation facility coding
Work from Home (Candidate should have own Laptop and Wi-Fi connection)
Key Responsibilities
- Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes
- Ensure codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with official coding guidelines
- Follow up with the provider on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear
- Receive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy
- Ensure that all codes are current and active
Qualifications
- Graduate/Post-graduate preferably in life/medical sciences
- Experience in IPDRG Coding
- Certification is mandatory
- Proficient with computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
