We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux servers in a production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot system/server issues.

• Perform regular system updates, patching, and kernel upgrades.

• Manage user accounts, file permissions, and security policies.

• Implement and monitor system backups and disaster recovery procedures.

• Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or tools like Ansible.

• Ensure high availability and optimal system uptime.

• Work with development and support teams for deployments and troubleshooting.

• Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 26 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator.

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.

• Experience with Apache/Nginx, DNS, FTP, SSH, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of scripting languages: Bash, Python, etc.

• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM), cloud platforms, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

• RHCSA/RHCE certification is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts if needed.
