Job Description
Role & responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with the regional and global team of designers as well as product management & engineering teams to produce world-class Software UX/UI design solutions for healthcare products / digital applications. As an experienced Interaction Design professional, your key focus will lie in developing solid understanding about the products and their various use-cases, creating innovative & empathetic design solutions while exceling in creativity/problem solving, on-time delivery and overall design quality.
Essential Responsibilities: Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following.
- Generate ideas for transformational user/customer experience in terms of intuitive & use-friendly experience, innovative features, interactive capabilities, workflow simplification, automation for increased user productivity, learnability and user satisfaction.
- Deliver high quality design deliverables and documentation including user persona, scenarios, journey maps/workflows, UX requirements, information architecture, concept sketches, low & high-fidelity wireframes/prototypes, icons/symbols/animations etc
- Perform primary or secondary user research, UX audits including heuristics evaluation, assist with formative or summate usability testing through development of test script and creation of testable digital prototypes and documentation of the research or usability findings and analysis.
- Understand Healthcares Ethos Design System deeply and effectively apply it through the design process and to support design transfer and flawless implementation.
- Participate in periodic design sprints & design reviews, evaluate designs against the project and design goals, and help identify & mitigate any gaps and risks and judiciously negotiate for favorable UX design trade-offs in a cross-functional team setting.
- Understand healthcare industry specific regulatory processes & requirements applicable to the design practice and follow necessary guidelines including timely completion of specialized or assigned trainings etc.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications/Requirements :
B Des / M Des Degree in Interaction Design or equivalent
Professional experience of 6-8 years
Proficiency in UX design tools particularly Figma, Miro, Adobe CC.
Fluent in English (written and oral)
Desired Characteristics :
Demonstrated ability in creativity & problem-solving evident from work samples / portfolio.
Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Rally, Confluence, Aha!
Experience in healthcare software applications (clinical or operational) is desired
Exceptional active listening, storytelling and presentation skills.
