We are looking to hire highly motivated, hands-on Head reliability who will be responsible for the Manufacturing Engineering function of EHV system (765 kV, 400kV & 220kV) supporting the strategic ambition to be the worlds leading manufacturing site. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support Cluster Head Reliability Electrical in planning, organising, and ensuring deployment of maintenance practices for all Extra high voltage system (765kV, 400kV & 220kV system) including Transmission line, Gas duct, cable and accessories to contribute for equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency with focus on development of capabilities for electrical engineers, budgets, and cost optimisation measures. Direct team to assigned Reliability operations and drive continuous improvement toward achieving the manufacturing goals/KPI/AOP set by management Improve reliability through Continuous Improvement techniques/up-gradation/Projects/ implementation of advance diagnostic and online condition monitoring techniques. Conduct design engineering reviews, installation, and commissioning of Extra High Voltage power systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Provide engineering support, including assessments, design expertise, troubleshooting, and root cause failure analysis for the EHV power system to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation Support engineering expertise for project development, factory acceptance testing, inspection processes, and site acceptance testing for EHV electrical equipment. Periodic review of performance monitoring and benchmarking of site electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support Cluster Head Electrical-EHV in maintaining statutory and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to legal and operational standards. Conduct various power system reliability studies & review power system model through ETAP/PSCAD. Review and maintain EHV equipment protection schemes, protection relay setting & relay co-ordination. Review and provide input on advanced numerical protection relays, including their functionality, settings, parameterization, logic configurations, disturbance recorder & analysis. Review and implement new changes and procedures as required to meet operational needs and improve overall system performance. Drive the team on Selection and standardization of the best maintenance practices specific to site electrical equipment and in line with OEM recommendations. Manage site maintenance and service costs, including budgeting, resource optimization, and spare parts management, to ensure cost-effective operations including spare preservations at site. Coordinate with the Centre of Excellence (COE), site CPPs and CTUs to identify and recommend reliability improvements in EHV network system. Standardize vendor and contractor processes, including outsourcing, logistics, and technical validation, to ensure consistency and reliability in operations. Conduct periodic audits to identify operational gaps and ensure adherence to Group Standards and Best Maintenance Practices for operations and maintenance. Review and maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation to align processes and ensure compliance. Identify training needs, facilitate learning, and promote skill development for team members while conducting timely performance appraisals to support their growth. Implement Group guidelines and learn from Lessons Learned from Incidents (LFIs) to enhance reliability. Integrate shared reliability insights into Engineering Technical Procedures. Liaise with Power Grid (Central Transmission Utility Team) to address power system reliability and operational challenges effectively Coach, mentor, and conduct training for targeted teams and organizations on EHV systems to build knowledge, enhance skills, and ensure operational excellence. Required Qualifications, Competence & Skills Education, Qualification & Experience Bachelors degree or above in Engineering in a recognized University. Good honours degree preferred. 15+ years related industry experience in EHV system Technological Working experience in refinery and petrochemical manufacturing industry preferred Knowledge on EHV system Track records of reliability improvement and major achievement Hands-on experience with Extra high voltage power system preferred Demonstrated leadership skill, good presentation, team-building and communications Must be highly energetic and have the drive to get things done ahead of plan. Knowledge of tools and methodologies like SPC, SPS, FMEA, DOE, Fish-Bone Analysis, TPM, etc. General Skills and abilities to perform job include analytical communication, presentation skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, exercises mature judgment; ability to work in a team, as well as, independently; ability to influence other people Highly discipline in manufacturing behaviour High fluency in both spoken and written English and preferably Mandarin People / Relations Able to energize, motivate and inspire people.
