Job Description
- If you are looking at opportunities in the power generation sector where you can provide Operation Leadership, here is one! We are seeking a Plant Head for our 12 MW Thermal Power Plant at Asansol, West Bengal. As the Plant Head, the incumbent will be responsible to- @ Lead daily operations, ensuring uninterrupted power generation, optimal plant performance, and safety @ Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution to ensure reduction in downtime and enhancement of asset life @ Develop operational budgets and control expenditures @ Monitor and control plant parameters to achieve efficiency targets @ Ensure that compliance with the regulatory, safety, and environmental standards is met @ Promote a zero-incident safety culture. @ Coordinate periodic audits and implement corrective actions. @ Implement improvement strategies and industry best practices to optimize generation cost and enhance revenue @ Effectively manage a unionized workforce through transparent communication and resolution of conflicts. @ Coordinate with corporate leadership for long-term planning. @ Manage and train a team of engineers, technicians, and operators Desired skills and competencies- @ Graduate engineer in Mechanical / Electrical / Energy Management with 20+ years experience in the power generation, and at least 5-7 years in heading a captive power plant. @ Strong understanding of power plant control systems, performance analytics, and safety protocols. @ Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. @ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. #Plant Head #Thermal Power Plant #Power Generation #Energy Sector #Leadership,
