Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Must-Have Skills:

Expertise in Python frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and microservices architecture.
Strong experience in developing and managing RESTful APIs.
Strong experience in containerization tools like Docker
Codebase management in GitHub
Proven knowledge of at least one major cloud platform ( Azure strongly preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
Experience with Azure Functions or equivalent serverless platforms.
Good knowledge of cache management tools and techniques (e.g., Redis).
Proficiency with DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot, pipelines, CI/CD practices.
Database experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB (must have).
Experience writing unit and integration test cases in python.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Strong experience in using python design patterns for building a scalable codebase
Familiarity with orchestration of containers with Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
Working knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
