Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Formwork Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning and execution of daily formwork activities in coordination with the Project Head.
- Ensure all activities are carried out as per the latest approved drawings and construction schedule. - Formwork System Management
- Oversee erection and dismantling of formwork for walls, columns, slabs, and staircases.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, alignment, and levels meet project specifications.
- Monitor the proper handling, stacking, and storage to enable safe reuse of formwork materials. - Construction Supervision
- Supervise formwork operations during concrete casting, ensuring availability of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with client representatives for necessary approvals and ensure timely completion with quality and safety. - Asset & Inventory Control
- Ensure appropriate use of company supplied formwork systems at site.
- Conduct regular physical verification of all formwork assets and maintain updated inventory records.
- Report shortages or damage and initiate timely corrective measures. - Resource Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with site teams, planning, QA/QC, and safety departments to ensure smooth execution.
- Guide formwork teams in adopting correct practices and maintaining productivity standards. - Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict compliance with safety procedures during formwork operations.
- Ensure all formwork methods conform to company safety norms and engineering standards. - Technical Support & Client Interaction
- Deliver technical presentations and conduct discussions with clients and consultants as required.
- Ensure strict adherence to the approved formwork scheme. - Progress Reporting
- Prepare and send regular progress reports related to formwork activities to the Regional Office.
- Highlight key achievements, challenges, and action plans in line with project goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in formwork within industrial, commercial, residential, or power projects. - Preferred Skills
- Experience in a variety of formwork systems (e.g., Aluminum, modular, jump form, conventional).
- Familiarity with structural steel interfaces is a plus.
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
