Job Description
Role - Security Officer
Responsibilities
- To look after all the Security arrangements.
- Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behaviour.
- Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel in case of any incident or during events.
- Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors.
- Responding to alarms and analysing security footage.
- Investigating suspicious behaviour, incidents, and security breaches.
- Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports.
- Prepare and submit daily/ weekly/ monthly reports.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Good knowledge of SOPs and demonstrated ability to implement Security SOPs thoroughly. Bring out gaps in protocol, if any, based on practical experience.
- Conduct training of security guards and assess their readiness for duty.
- Maintain departmental records and files.
Preferred candidate profile
- Relevant job experience of 5-6 years as security officer
- Previous experience in supervising security guards.
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgement.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of public safety, security operations and procedures.
