Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support enterprise-level data migration efforts and the consolidation of data systems from acquired companies into the existing database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data structures, and expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL processes, and data integration. Power BI knowledge is preferred but not mandatory. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and project managers, to ensure seamless and accurate data consolidation.

Responsibilities:
Data Migration:
- Analyze and profile source and target data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and transformation requirements.
- Design and execute data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation strategies.
- Implement and monitor ETL processes for data migration using SSIS and other industry-standard tools.
System Consolidation:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of data systems from acquired companies.
- Identify redundancies, overlaps, and opportunities for optimization during system integration.
- Work with technical teams to migrate, deduplicate, and integrate data into the enterprise database, primarily SQL Server.
Data Analysis and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute data validation strategies to ensure migration accuracy and completeness.
- Establish and monitor data quality KPIs during and after migration.
- Create reports to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging tools like Power BI where applicable.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with business units to understand data requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and project managers to meet project objectives.
- Provide post-migration support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Documentation and Best Practices:
- Document data structures, migration workflows, and integration processes.
- Maintain and promote best practices for data migration and system consolidation.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server is a must.
- Working knowledge of Oracle databases is a plus.
- Proficiency in SSIS is mandatory for ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI is preferred but not required.
- Experience with data analysis, profiling, and quality assurance.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
