Job Description

Job Title: Welder
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Employment Type: Permanent
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Education: 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma
Certification: Certified Welding Course from a reputed institute

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform TIG, MIG, and ARC welding operations with precision and efficiency.
Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and program welding parameters accordingly.
Maintain and update daily welding logs and production documentation.
Follow the daily production schedule to ensure timely customer deliveries.
Preheat parts as required before welding/cladding in accordance with WPS guidelines.
Maintain a log register for welding parameters used during production runs.
Track usage of consumables such as filler wire, tungsten electrodes, and gas in a dedicated register.
Ensure all welding tools and accessories are in proper working condition at all times.
Perform pre-job checks on welding machines, including machine condition, calibration status, and electrical safety.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong hands-on experience in TIG, MIG, and ARC welding techniques.
Familiar with interpreting and executing Welding Procedure Specifications.
Skilled in maintaining records and working in a production-driven environment.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and quality-conscious.
