ROR Developer (Hotwire - Turbo/Stimulus) @ Wishtree Technologies

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Rails developer with experience in Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), Tailwind CSS, and modern Rails development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building interactive, high-performance web applications while maintaining clean and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Utilize Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus) to create dynamic, real-time user experiences without heavy JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement Tailwind CSS with Flowbite to build sleek, modern, and accessible UI components.
• Design and optimize MySQL Schema / Active Record Models to ensure efficient query performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Ruby code following best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• Proficiency in Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus) for interactive web development.
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS for styling Rails applications.
• Experience with MySQL, including query optimization.
• Familiarity with RSpec, Minitest, or other Rails testing frameworks.
• Understanding of MVC architecture, background job processing (Sidekiq or Resque), and caching mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub (or compatible repositories) and version control workflows.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity-related projects.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Exposure to Docker, Kamal, and containerized Rails deployments.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
