Lead - Developer @ Revature

Job Description

• Proven experience (5-8 years) as a Full Stack Java Developer Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, JPA/Hibernate)
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)
• Understanding of database systems, both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and consumption
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Understanding of agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of microservices architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work on both frontend and backend development tasks to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing user interfaces
• Integrate external web services and third-party APIs
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to the development process
