Job Description
Main Tasks
The Legal SPOC will serve as a crucial liaison between legal department & the project team for MFL branch infrastructure projects.
Areas of Responsibility
- From premise identification to lease execution-Will provide legal expertise and support to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with all legal requirements.
- Conduct legal due diligence on the identified premises, including zoning regulations, lease agreements, and any legal encumbrances.
- Title scrutiny preparation-Do thorough title searches, reviewing property documents for legal compliance, identifying any discrepancies or issues, preparing comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations etc. Also ensure that the property's title is clear and free of any legal obstacles or encumbrances.
- Draft, review and negotiate lease agreements for selected premises, ensuring terms favorable to the client and compliance with legal standards.
- Co-ordinate with landlords, legal representatives, and internal stakeholders to finalize lease agreements in a timely manner.
- Ensure all lease documents are accurately executed and document controlled as per client standard policies.
- Provide legal guidance to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for branch establishment.
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors and suppliers involved in infrastructure works for MFL branches.
- MIS-Reporting to senior management.

Educational Qualification / Technical Certification
Bachelor of Legislative Law
Skill Sets
Proficiency in handling multiple projects simultaneously, Well known with legal practices prevailing in the industry.
Communication Skills
English (Mandatory)
Hindi ( Mandatory)
Malayalam
Experience
2-5 years experience in BFSI/Retail sector

Ability to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and team player
Attention to detail
Other Requirements (If any)
Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Sharepoint and email. Should be open to travel
