Lead MS-SQL DBA will be responsible for managing
- Client expectations
- Systems running from Azure and on-Prem
- Maintain and upgrade current MS-SQL systems
- Maintain DR, HA and replications for database system
- Maintain Windows systems
Min. 10+yrs experience in Managing MS-SQL Databases
- Candidate should be working as Lead Admin and working as single point of contacts for all the MS-SQL Databases and Windows administration
- Must have experience in designing and architecture of Azure cloud
- Hands-on experience with Managing Cloud VM, Network and Security
- Support the lifecycle management of business critical applications to include installing patches, performing upgrades, managing releases, and administration tasks
- Support the development and production environments of business critical applications by ensuring application availability, responding to application emergencies, and supporting deployments.
- Hands-on experience on Database upgrade to latest 2023
- Hands-on experience working on Public Cloud management like Azure Infrastructure and provisioning
- Experience in the implementation of High availability and replication
- Hands-on experience in setting Disaster Recovery system and High Availability (HA) environment
- Experience with SQL Server monitoring, T-SQL
- Experience with backup/recovery for on-Prem and Cloud environment
- Project Management Lifecycle methodology concepts
- Hands on experience of Windows VM running from Azure
- Experience in installing, managing, and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers
- Experience in DC migration on-Prem or Cloud
- Experience in Windows Provisioning, Snap, Clones, Backup/Recovery and patching
- Experience in managing Windows Security, Firewalls and User accesses.
- Monitoring system performance with the scripts.
- Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
- Troubleshooting system and server errors.
- Monitoring and updating the Windows codebase, Monitoring system performance.
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
