Job Description
The mission of the Test Automation Engineer role is to enhance software quality through effective automation strategies that align with the organization s vision of delivering reliable and scalable applications to clients
Main activities
Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing
Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases
Work on SaaS-based applications, validating APIs, data integration, UI workflows, and scalability
Analyze test results, track bugs, and provide recommendations for improvements
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (eg, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Participate in design and code reviews, offering feedback on testability and quality
Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage to support fast-paced agile delivery
Required Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science
Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and QA
Strong programming skills in Java, Selenium, and Selenide
Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, APM
Deep understanding of API testing (REST, SOAP) and mobile application testing
Experience working in cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS and Azure
Familiarity with SaaS platforms (eg, Salesforce, Workday, Pega)
Proficiency with version control (Git) and test management tools like JIRA
Experience with performance/load testing tools (eg, JMeter, Gatling) is a plus
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow
Knowledge of security testing practices and tools
Familiarity with containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of performance engineering and optimization techniques
