Software Senior Engineer @ Boomi Software

Job Description

• Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
• Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
• Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
• Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews
• Research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for new features

• Bachelors or Masters degree in CSE
• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience using object-oriented languages like Python
• 3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing APIs and integration technologies in distributed enterprise environments using a combination of technologies, languages or standards like REST, SOAP, JSON, Python, Java etc.
• Expertise building and maintaining microservices based architecture in cloud ecosystems and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience using Devops tools like Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
• Strong experience with SQL and relational database systems (example Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB) and knowledge of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) domain
• Familiarity with cloud based data warehousing and data lake solutions such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Athena.
• Experience with queuing SaaS systems like AWS SQS and Kafka.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product and familiarity with established design patterns.
• Strong technical communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with cross functional technical teams within the organization
• Experience using Linux/Unix environments

• Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and experience in large-scale data processing technologies like Apache Spark.
• Experience with DynamoDB and GraphQL
• Proficiency in GoLang or Java
