Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer who would be responsible to lead business intelligence and analytics projects. The Data Engineer will be responsible for working with lead business analysts to deliver end to end business intelligence and analytics projects working closely with lead business analysts and Customer stakeholder.
Role and Responsibilities:
Has worked extensively in Cloud, SQL & ETL tools Alteryx in Analytics space.
- Experience in developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes.
- Ability to work efficiently on data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
- Understanding of the declarative capabilities of one or more cloud infrastructure providers AWS/GCP/Azure and the ability to build solutions based on these capabilities.
- Provide direction on adoption of Cloud technologies (Snowflake) and industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modelling.
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy, develops and organizes cloud systems. Previous ownership of the technical solution architecture.
- Design and lead the build effort for cloud data platforms.
- Ability to navigate complex solutions, build trust and credibility with clients.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx such as Predictive, Parsing, and Transforms
- Extensive knowledge on RDBMS concepts.
- Experience in writing SQL queries against any RDBMS with query optimization abilities.
- Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in any ETL tool to be used by the BI Reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Should be able to perform data blending, joining, and parsing the data, data lineage.
- Ability to interact with end users and translate business language into technical requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with people of many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
- Ready to learn and work on new Data Engineering technologies.
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc/MSc, MBA

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.
