Job Description
Designation Title - Associate Manager - Taxation
Reporting to - Vice President Finance
Role & responsibilities Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for GST / Income tax compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe
- Analyzing transactional data and validating the correctness of the same to ensure compliance with company policy and GST laws
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
- Representation before GST department for various GST matters
- Advice, support and review of statutory matters related to GST including preparation & filing of the returns
- Filing of GST Returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6 and annual return.
- Co-ordinate with product team to verify if products have been developed as per GST law and end user expectation
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Provide excellent tax planning
Skill & Competencies
- Knowledge of GST is a must
- Proven work experience as a Tax Manager
- Well versed with accounting standards / IndAS, MS Excel & modelling
- Good presentation and communication skills to deal with top management
- Analytical skills to present insights to management on the business
- Well versed with dealing with accounting packages such as Oracle / SAP
- Good listening and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
Education and Experience
CA with minimum 2 years of post qualification experience & overall 5 years of relevant work experience
