Post US Mortgage Underwriter - Credit

Location Bangalore WORK FROM OFFICE

Job Shift 7 pm to 5 am - Night - 5 Days a Week Saturday & Sunday Off

Required Skills & Job Responsibilities U.S. Mortgage Underwriter:

2+ years of experience in U.S. residential mortgage underwriting.

• Strong understanding of U.S. residential mortgage products and investor guidelines.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and accuracy in all underwriting documentation and systems.
• Ability to analyze credit reports, income documents, asset statements, and property appraisals to ensure compliance with investor guidelines.
• Strong working knowledge of 4Cs
• Experience reviewing and verifying W-2s, pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, appraisal reports, and other documentation.
• Skilled in evaluating borrower credit reports, calculating DTI (Debt-to-Income) ratios, and calculation various income types (base, self-employment, rental income).
• Strong attention to identifying red flags and applying risk-based decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Shift: Must be flexible to work in any shift.
