Job Description
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Conduct data assessments and develop strategies for data management, integration, and analytics.
- Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
- Responding to client RFI, RFP documents with proper solution design including cost estimates. Provide technical expertise and support during the pre-sales process, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data architecture and analytics.
- Contributing to SoWs, technical project roadmaps, etc required for successful execution of projects leveraging Technical Scoping & Solutioning approach
- Planning end to end technical scope of the project and customer engagement area including planning sprint and delivery
Skills required to contribute:
15+ Years of experience in Data and Analytics experience with minimum 7-8 years in Snowflake and 2-3 years in one of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on consulting and solution design.
- Extensive experience in Cloud Data stack from consulting, setting up data platform, rearchitecting or refactoring data platform to cloud native services along with industry leading tools/products, Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive experience in Snowflake - Virtual warehouse (Compute), Data modeling & storage including LDM/PDM design, data loading/unloading and data sharing, SnowSQL (CLI) as well as Snowflake Internals and integrations, SnowPipe implementation, S3 Internal data copy/movement, Snowflake security including readers and consumers accounts.
- Advance SQL knowledge and hands on experience on complex queries writing using with Analytical functions, Troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning of SQL queries accessing data warehouse as well as Strong knowledge on stored procedures
- 6+ Years of experience in Informatica 10.x & above / IICS with all modules including ETL design & development and troubleshooting / debugging, Repository Manager, Strong experience in Informatica Mapping Designer (Mapping & Mapplets creations using all Transformations) and Workflow Designer (Session & Task implementation and Job scheduling)
- Minimum 2 data lake & EDW implementations using Azure/AWS/GCP Cloud Data native services along with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala.
- Well versed with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and similar project delivery methodologies.
- Experienced in internal as well as external stakeholder management
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Exposure to various data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI etc)
- Experience in MDM / DQM / Data Governance technologies like Collibra, Atacama, Alation, Reltio will be added advantage.
- SnowPro-Core / SnowPro-Advanced certification will be added advantage.
