Azure Data Engineer (Standard) @ Infogain

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, scalable Python-based applications aligned with company requirements.

• Integrate and implement Generative AI models into business applications.

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data engineering solutions on Azure.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, data engineers, and cloud architects) to define, design, and deploy innovative AI and data solutions.

• Build, test, and optimize AI pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Azure-based data systems.

• Continuously research and evaluate new AI and Azure data technologies and trends to enhance system capabilities.

• Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation.

• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming, including libraries and frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI.

• Experience in Generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT models, LangChain, Hugging Face).

• Solid expertise in Azure Data Engineering tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage.

• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenAI API.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web application development.

• Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ETL processes.

• Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors/master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.

• Prior experience developing AI-enabled products or implementing AI into applications.

• Azure certifications (AZ-204, DP-203, AI-102) or equivalent.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, especially in Azure DevOps.
