Designation: Senior Writer (Healthcare Industry - Diagnostics/Biotechnology)
Job Description:
- Content Development & Writing:
- Create high-quality, accurate, and engaging content tailored to the healthcare and diagnostics (biotechnology) industry. This includes writing for scientific papers, white papers, case studies, product descriptions, website content, blogs, brochures, marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Industry-Specific Expertise:
- Utilize deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in diagnostics and biotechnology, to craft content that is both scientifically accurate and easily understandable by a range of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders.
- Regulatory & Compliance Writing:
- Write and edit content that adheres to regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and guidelines such as FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory bodies. Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and clinical trials.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, product managers, marketing teams, and regulatory affairs, to gather accurate information and ensure the content aligns with the companys goals and messaging.
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Contribute to the development of content strategies that support the companys goals in the diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. Plan and execute content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all content pieces.
- Editing & Proofreading:
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style. Maintain a high standard of quality in all written materials.
- Research & Staying Current:
- Conduct in-depth research on the latest trends, developments, and regulations in the healthcare and diagnostics (biotechnology) industries. Stay current with industry news and advancements to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date.
- Document Management & Version Control:
- Manage and organize all written materials, ensuring proper version control and easy retrieval of documents. Maintain thorough documentation of the writing and editing process.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of writing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry, with a focus on diagnostics and biotechnology.
- Proven track record of writing for scientific or technical audiences, with experience in regulatory writing being a plus.
- Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A background in life sciences, biotechnology, or healthcare is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong Writing & Editing Skills:
- Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content.
- Strong attention to detail in editing and proofreading.
- Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the healthcare, diagnostics, and biotechnology sectors.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and regulations.
- Research & Analytical Skills:
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information into accessible content.
- Project Management:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
