Job Description
- The technical engineer should deliver Powertrain CFD projects withemphasis on Engine Cooling system (Hydraulics and deaeration simulation) as anindividual contributor/with support of team
- Leverage team competency by bringing new technology/concept to deliver ProgramGateways
- Provide technical guidance on Powertrain Integration CFD projects to newengineers.
- Take initiative and responsibility for new challenging projects and collaborateteam to deliver the task
- Ensure lessons learnt are captured, translated applied to futureprograms, participate in Powertrain Tech club meetings and support developingaction plans and solutions for critical issues related to PTI CFD system
- Should be able to find out the root cause for convergence issues duringanalysis and mentor the team to complete complex analysis
- Interfacing with the customer on the project status and analysis reviews onclosure of TGW/issues within expectation
DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:
- Good Understanding of CFD 3D Flow, Thermal, Porous Modelling andmulti-phase modellin
- Knowledge in Engine cooling system.
- Perform CAD cleanup, Surface Meshing using ANSA, and Star-CCM+.
- Perform CFD simulations using Star-CCM+ and Simerics with best practices foraccurate computational efficiency.
- Nice to have Simerics tool exposure, nice to have 1D Flow Master toolsexposure.
- Good Understanding of CFD 3D Flow, Thermal, Porous Modelling andmulti-phase modellin
