Job Description

Good experience inAutomotive transmission and driveline (traditional and electric) systems.
Experience withtwo-phase flow modeling (VOF), Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) and multi-cellregion problems (moving/sliding mesh).
Develop CFD methodsand use of tools, to support new designs relevant to transmission anddriveline, as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing and quality.
Should be able toidentify root cause of undesired outcomes from simulations and finding thereasonable solution.
Thorough understandingof physics related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
Hands-on experiencewith Star-CCM+ and ANSA.
Conduct modelcorrelations for subsystem functionality verification
Preferred candidatewill be an individual contributor, working directly with global design andproduct development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery electric vehicles.

Additional skills-

Skilled in Preonlab(Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) will be considered as an added advantage.
Experience withGT-suite/AMESim is a plus.
Knowledge oftransmission hydraulic/lube system.
Knowledge onTeamcenter will be considered as an advantage.
Knowledge of Scriptingwill be considered as added advantage.
