Job Description
- Good experience inAutomotive transmission and driveline (traditional and electric) systems.
- Experience withtwo-phase flow modeling (VOF), Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) and multi-cellregion problems (moving/sliding mesh).
- Develop CFD methodsand use of tools, to support new designs relevant to transmission anddriveline, as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing and quality.
- Should be able toidentify root cause of undesired outcomes from simulations and finding thereasonable solution.
- Thorough understandingof physics related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
- Hands-on experiencewith Star-CCM+ and ANSA.
- Conduct modelcorrelations for subsystem functionality verification
- Preferred candidatewill be an individual contributor, working directly with global design andproduct development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery electric vehicles.
Additional skills-
- Skilled in Preonlab(Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) will be considered as an added advantage.
- Experience withGT-suite/AMESim is a plus.
- Knowledge oftransmission hydraulic/lube system.
- Knowledge onTeamcenter will be considered as an advantage.
- Knowledge of Scriptingwill be considered as added advantage.
