About the Role:
We are seeking a highly disciplined and mission-driven Project Manager with a background in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) to lead a strategic aerospace project. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, operational planning, and stakeholder coordination expertise, along with the ability to work in high-pressure and dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for key aerospace initiatives, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and quality to drive project milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with defence and aerospace standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and resolve project-related issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
- Ensure safety, security, and confidentiality protocols are strictly followed.
Key Requirements:
- Ex-Defence (Army/Navy/Air Force) background is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing complex technical or defence-related projects.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Management, or related field (Preferred: PMP/PRINCE2 certification).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing or defence project lifecycle is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Aerospace, Defence, or Aviation sector.
- Understanding of government and military procurement procedures.
- Familiarity with project tools like MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
- Security clearance or eligibility for defence-related clearances.
