Migration Engineer @ Cognizant

Job Description

• Proficiency in cloud migration tools and methodologies, particularly:
• Azure Migrate
• Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and related infrastructure.
• Experience in planning and executing migrations, including assessing workloads, setting up dependencies, and configuring target environments.
• Familiarity with landing zone concepts in Azure, including networking, security, and scalability configurations.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server configurations, including OS-level optimizations for Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve migration-related issues.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and stakeholders
