Job Description
- Job Title: ETL BI TesterExperience Required: 2 - 5 YearsWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL BI Tester with 2-5 years of experience to join our data and analytics team
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL Testing using SQL, PySpark, and Python, as well as BI Testing for platforms like Power BI
- The role involves validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, verifying transformations, and testing dashboard functionalities
- Key Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
- Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data at various stages of the ETL workflow
- Use PySpark and Python scripts for automated testing of large data sets and transformations
- Conduct BI report testing in Power BI including data accuracy, filter conditions, and visualization validations
- Identify data quality issues and work with developers and data engineers to resolve them
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on data requirements
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to understand reporting requirements and data models
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing on data workflows and reports
- Document and report bugs and test results using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Required Skills:2-5 years of experience in ETL Testing and BI Testing
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
- Experience with PySpark for handling and validating large-scale data
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and data validation tasks
- Solid experience in testing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data models, and ETL architecture
- Experience working in Agile environments
