Job Description
As a technical lead for the MoEngage SRE Team, your role will focus 20% on leadership and 80% on execution.You will be responsible for:
- Technically leading the team on day-to-day operations and agile project management
- Active and hands-on execution of critical projects alongside the team
- Work with SRE leadership in project planning and architecture designs
- Mentor and guide the SRE team and help them in their career development
- Work with stakeholders including developers and security teams
What you will bring to the table:
- 9 - 12 years of Experience on the public cloud platforms, with at least 6 years in AWS.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience on Kubernetes and associated CNCF ecosystem
- Continuous Integration expertise, including test, build and packaging tools, code quality and security analysis tools, artefact and container storage, etc
- Continuous delivery and deployment expertise - GitOps tools, Argo ecosystem, Autoscaling, Traffic Distribution
- Cloud and infrastructure management with automation using Terraform, Ansible, etc
- Programming expertise in Python and/or Golang
- Observability skillset - expert on setting up and scaling Prometheus or Prometheus-compatible metrics systems. Log management with ELK or VMLog stacks, familiarity with distributed tracing and APM.
- Data Processing and Distributed Systems Knowledge - Should be familiar with event-driven architecture on the Kafka ecosystem. Knowledge of Flink, Celery, Mongo and Skilla would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Cloud cost and cloud security posture
- At least 2 years experience in technically leading a reasonably sized SRE/DevOps team
- Experience in leading projects and stakeholder management
