- Role & responsibilities
- Observing and assessing patients: Monitoring vital signs, recording observations, and assessing patient conditions.
- Patient intake: Obtaining health histories, measurements, and vitals.
- Developing and implementing care plans: Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and execute patient care plans.
- Monitoring patient progress: Tracking patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Providing emotional support: Offering comfort, reassurance, and guidance to patients and their families.
- Educating patients and families: Explaining health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
- Communicating with healthcare team: Sharing information with physicians, other nurses, and staff members.
- Maintaining patient records: Documenting patient information and updates in the patient's health record.
