Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer with 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of WordPress architecture, custom theme/plugin development, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Development
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on the requirements.
- Extend and enhance WordPress functionality using PHP, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Website Maintenance & Optimization
- Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins while ensuring compatibility.
- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug advanced issues, including server-side problems.
- Frontend Development
- Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Enhance user interfaces and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- API Integration & Automation
- Automate workflows and tasks using custom scripts or tools.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure website performance, usability, and reliability.
- SEO & Accessibility
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices, including schema markup and metadata.
- Ensure websites comply with accessibility standards like WCAG.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills
- Strong experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Knowledge of web hosting environments, DNS, and server setups.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
- Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience & Education
- 25 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- A robust portfolio showcasing complex WordPress projects.
