Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Development of the Landscape area.
- Vermiculture Plant Operations.
- Formulate maintenance strategies to increase the aesthetic value of the landscape at an optimum cost.
- Coordination with project architect & landscape consultant.
- Installation & Maintenance of irrigation system.
- Seasonal Plant Management & Indoor cultivation practices.
- Daily clean-up of trash and debris around exterior of the area.
- Annual flower installation:
- Organize flats of flowers in nursery by area to be planted
- Arrange/ help to install flats of flowers for planting water in new plantings if weather is warm
- Closely monitor watering needs of newly planted annuals for first 2 weeks
- Annual flower planter installation:
- Distribute pre-grown planters to designated locations
- Plant up remaining planters as indicated
- Closely monitor watering needs of newly planted planters for first 2 weeks until individual plants have rooted into soil.
- Monitoring of watering needs.
- Monitor and supplemental watering of drip irrigated planters
- Manual watering of non-drip irrigated planters
- Annual flower beds
- Manual timer-controlled Lawn areas
- Routinely deadhead unsightly flower heads.
- Pay special attention to deadheading and clean-up of terrace planters before weekends and special events
- Routinely monitor beds around clubhouse for weeds and deadheading of unsightly flowers.
- Determines best methods of planting, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc Agriculture / Horticulture with minimum of 8 years plus of experience.
- Exposure to real estate developments related to Residential, Commercial and IT projects.
