Job Description
This is a strong technology and solution delivery role, accountable for the successful testing, data valiation, supporting development and delivery of ETL solutions on the corporate Data Platform - not only for self, also for a team of developers working on specific projects.
Partners with ETL developers/Tableau developers/Architect through the development of complex ETL routines to load a dimensional star schema (and supporting layers) and develops error handling processes and testing dashboards in the Tableau environment
Perform data analysis, build strong and effective SQL queries to validate data and KPI calculation in UAT and PROD
Interact with customers to understand their business problems and provide best-in-class analytics support.
Defining and documenting technical test-cases in a structured way to be easily reproduced and executed along the application lifecycle.
The testers ensures the data being used is representing the real use cases, and ensures that data items end-to-end are representing the business information according to the source systems and further transformations implemented.
QA Performance Analyst will support the development team to fix all detected errors
QA Performance Analyst will support data owners in the final KPI & Dashboard/Reports testing and error fixing.
Demonstrate strength in data modelling, ETL development, data analysis and data warehousing
Proficient in complex SQL and Query performance tuning skills
Ability to work on multiple tracks and status reporting
Work with team to ensure standards and patterns are followed.
Playing a key role in mentoring other staff members and a proven track record in knowledge transfer to other team members and departments.
Evaluates existing applications that could address client requirements and makes recommendations from complex projects.
Identifies alternative uses of technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems and that support overall corporate and business goals that are appropriately aligned with the enterprise architecture.
Identifies necessary changes to current business process.
Identifies opportunities for solution sharing and reuse.
Assists in the testing and development of ETL & Tableau related Service Level Agreements.
Communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks.
QUALIFICATIONS: - EDUCATION : B.E / B TECH/MASTERS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONICS, RELEVANT TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION
Technology Skills and Project Experience:
- 10 years of Analytics Development and QA on Redshift, Databricks, S3 and other analytics products and integration with Data platforms & Data Testing experience in Analytical layer
- 5 - 7 years of strong Tableau & Informatica development experience
- 8+ years of Strong SQL experience
- Minimum 7 years of working experience using Redshift/AWS and data modelling skills will be added advantage
- Experience in test automation is mandatory
- Should understand the overall system landscape, upstream an d downstream systems
- Detailed working knowledge of software testing with a high SQL or data content; design of unit tests, integration testing, functional and smoke testing, system test and acceptance test
- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing/business intelligence methodologies
- Extensive use of and fully conversant in SQL
- Finance, Opportunity, Sales and Marketing domain knowledge added advantage
- Skilled in any of the automation test tools like Selenium, DBFit etc and performance monitoring tools
- Good to have any of the scripting language knowledge. Shell/VBA/Python, Pyspark, Scala Etc
- Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.

- Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
