Job Description
Job Title: SAP MDG Architect Location: Mohali, Chandigarh, IndiaScope of this position: Experienced SAP MDG Architect responsible for designing solutions and managing requirements and resources to deliver project expectations on time for company's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program. Primary Responsibilities:
- Project coordination and ownership of the design, realization, testing and hypercare support of new MDG implementations
- Requirement gathering with business and domain leads, assistance with data analysis and the reference data and migration data loads into MDG
- Project management assistance, from the IT perspective, to EDM Governance Project Manager and EDM Program Manager
- Coordination of requirements and testing (including internal testing assistance) with EDM IT developers and configurators
- Ownership of Integration and UAT phases with the project team and local key users (planning, scenario build, test script creation, event management)
- Gather business requirements for translation into MDG data solutions: 20%
- Assist with project management tasks required for successful completion of MDG projects; support EDM IT Program Manager as required for reporting program/project status: 20%
- Provide technical and functional design and development oversight for the configuration of MDG domains, custom objects, data model creation/changes, data quality and integration/migration: 40%
- Coordinate project testing with developers, testers and UAT groups: 10%
- Provide Go-Live, HyperCare and Level 3 steady-state support as needed: 10%
Required Candidate profile
Required:- Experience: Min. 10-12 years
- Experience leading 2 or more MDG implementation projects - Mandatory
- SAP MDG Functional / Technical Experience: Min. 5 years
- SAP FI/SD/MM general knowledge: 3-5 years
- SAP ABAP general knowledge
- Proven SAP MDG expertise in MDG hub environment with replication to multiple SAP remote systems
- Hands on experience as Project Manager delivering multiple full life cycle SAP implementations (MDG specifically)
- Customer facing skills, including strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and to "drive" project progress and completion
- Functional understanding of MDG domains (Supplier, Customer, Material, Finance)
- Strong team orientation, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse, globally-dispersed project teams
